PLH forces approached the town of Tafin intil they were fired upon by Tafin's militia. The militia was quickly decimated since the PLH forces had superior numbers and more high tech weaponry on their side.
After winning the battle, PLH built Fort Iho near Tafin, named after the Commander of the PLH unit that won the battle.
